Meeting men to find Mr. Right means that you must be Ms. Right (or on the road to being Ms. Right) and I do not mean the perfect size, the perfect height, or have the perfect look. You want Mr. Right to be positive, caring and generous, right? Well, that applies to you as well. Remember, chances are Mr. Right is also looking for Ms. Right.
I have received emails from women saying before I search for Mr. Right I need to lose 10, 15 or 20 pounds. Everyone is not going to be a size 2 or size 4. Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Be comfortable with your weight and work on being healthy so you can enjoy a long life with Mr. Right when the opportunity presents itself. Wear clothes that accentuates your figure and remember it is more important that you focus on being happy with who you are as a person than on being the “perfect” size.
Make sure you have something to offer the relationship. Work on your own personal growth. Do not be afraid to try new things. Become a more well-rounded person. Get out and volunteer in your community. You may be surprised to learn that there are a lot of men that volunteer to help others. This is one of the best places to find a caring and compassionate man, but you must embody the same characteristics. You must be happy with yourself in order to be happy with Mr. Right. You also need to be clear about what you are looking for in Mr. Right.
Now let’s explore places to find Mr. Right. Again, volunteering is a great way to find a caring and compassionate man. Often, caring and compassionate men may volunteer to coach children’s sports or for mentoring programs such as Big Brothers. You can also check out men who volunteer for youth programs at your church.
Take a cooking class, wine tasting class or a chocolate making class. Food and wine are considered to be very fashionable. Contrary to popular opinion, men also love chocolate. Surprisingly, men also like to eat and drink. These courses encourage working in groups. There is no better way to strike up a conversation and share opinions than while enjoying food. Most of the world loves to eat, drink and be merry.
This one is very obvious: If you are looking for a man of faith, don’t overlook your church. Sometimes Mr. Right is “right” under your nose and you simply do not see him. In fact, he may already be your friend, sitting on the sidelines throwing subtle hints that you may be ignoring. Does he make you laugh? If so, take a second look.
The most important tip I can give is get out and live your life. Explore outside your comfort zone. The more you do, the more you will be exposed to different people and the better your chances of meeting Mr. Right. However, you must be realistic and honest with yourself. Mr. Right might not be the most handsome guy in the world and he will most definitely not be perfect, as perfection does not exist. We are all human and we all have flaws.
When you do land that date, don’t be afraid to buy him a box of chocolates or some flowers (if you can afford it), be romantic. Men are also looking for women who are willing to broaden their horizons. Finding Mr. Right really is not complicated. You just need to follow your own common sense and don’t be afraid to try a legitimate dating site, if you feel comfortable. Now you are dating with confidence.
